How long does deployment really take?
A clean deployment with one knowledge source, one channel, and a basic brand skin: 2-3 weeks. Multi-channel with 5+ helpdesk integrations and custom guardrails: 4-6 weeks. Everything is shipped iteratively — you'll see working bot in week 1.
What if our knowledge base changes constantly?
Continuous ingestion is built-in. Connect to Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, Sharepoint, your CMS, or scheduled CSV/JSON drops. Index updates within 30 minutes of source change. No manual re-training.
Can we choose our own LLM?
Yes — Pro and Enterprise tiers route between OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or self-hosted Llama 3.3 / Mixtral. Per-route policies for cost vs. quality. Default routes balance based on query complexity.
How do you prevent hallucinations?
Three layers: (1) RAG grounds every answer in retrieved context — answers without sufficient retrieval are refused; (2) output validation against domain schemas where applicable; (3) confidence scoring exposed to the UI so customers see uncertainty. We've yet to see a production hallucination on Pro deployments past month two.
What about on-premises / air-gapped?
Enterprise tier supports fully self-hosted deployment with self-hosted Llama 3.3 / Mixtral, on-premises vector DB, and zero outbound network calls. Required for regulated banking and defence clients.
